About Us:
I have been in the culinary industry for over 42 years and have held positions from Line Cook to Executive Chef. After graduating from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts-Scottsdale in 2011, I wanted to open a small bistro, but after doing a cost analysis, I found it to be less expensive to operate a food truck and be able to drive to where the festtivals were instead of waiting for people to show up. For the next few years, I did my research, created a 5 year business plan and shopped for funding options.
Once my wife died suddenly in 2023, I wanted to fulfill our dream of owning a food truck and I had one custom built by Prime Design in Tempe and we were on the road in March 2024 and haven't looked back!

Based in Arizona, RayTays started as a food truck with a passion for serving bold, flavorful food and creating an experience that keeps people coming back. We’re best known for our crispy, bone-in wings tossed signature flavors like our original Tay’s Sauce, Blue Hot, Theater Chicken, Lemon Pepper, and Garlic Parmesan.
