We provide hand crafted coffee at convenient locations, while bringing a unique experience to the community. Our beans are locally sourced and sweetener options include homemade syrups, local honey and NY maple syrup. We offer various kinds of locally sourced baked goods made from scratch daily.

Founded in 2017 by Theresa just before Hurricane Florence struck southeastern North Carolina, The Daily Scoop on Main was born in the face of adversity. Despite damage to her town, home, and shop, Theresa persevered, creating a welcoming place for locals and travelers to enjoy Hershey’s ice cream, frozen yogurt with 32+ toppings, and sweet moments of comfort.
Over the years, she expanded the menu to include custom ice cream cakes, smoothies, soft serve, floats, and more. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Theresa innovated with a delivery service, bringing handmade desserts to customers' doors.
By 2025, The Daily Scoop now features boba tea, refresher drinks, funnel cakes, fruit purée creations, and the beloved Shake 'Ems — extravagant ice cream treats served in mason jars. With the addition of a mobile food truck, “Scoops,” Theresa brings the joy on the road, available for private bookings and local events.
Through storms, setbacks, and success, Theresa has built more than an ice cream shop — she’s built a legacy of resilience, community, and sweetness.

About Us:
Having a bakery has been one of my biggest dreams since I was a teenager.
I realized that if I was ever going to make my dream come true, it would need to be now or never. Deciding to incorporate my love for baking with my active lifestyle, doing a food truck & custom dessert orders was a no-brainer. Within the month, I was able to draw up my business plan, get my truck, look for my kitchen, and most importantly, get my family on board. Honestly, picking out the name was the hardest part!
With my husband doing graphics and the website and my wonderful, social platform-savvy kids helping get the word out, we are truly a family business. We are extremely excited to bring Doo Wop Desserts on the road to y'all!
