About Us:
Our Story
Before Street Spice, I spent over 10 years as a police officer. I was proud of what I did, but when my wife and I started talking seriously about starting a family, she gave me a little reality check.
She basically told me, “If you want to start a family, you need to find something else.”
Food had always been something I wanted to get into. I grew up in New York, where chicken and gyro over rice was part of my life. I ate it all the time—the seasoned meat, rice, white sauce, and hot sauce. It was simple street food, but it was something I genuinely loved.
So I thought, why not take a chance? Why not start a food truck and see where it goes?
That idea became Street Spice.
We started small, worked through the long days, late nights, challenges, and everything that comes with building a business from the ground up. What began as an idea to create a different life for my family slowly became something much bigger.
And now, almost four years later, we’re still here and growing.
Street Spice isn’t just a food business to me. It’s part of my story—from serving my community as a police officer to building something of my own, creating a future for my family, and sharing some of the food I grew up loving in New York.
Four years later, this is only the beginning for Street Spice.
