We previously resided in Lexington, Kentucky as the proprietors of Jean Farris Winery & Bistro for over 20 years. After selling Jean Farris in 2025 we took some time off to reconnect with our Appalachian roots in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky. As we awake from our culinary hibernation, we are excited to bring you a new, Chef driven, Farm-to-Truck culinary experience. Our Food
We take Appalachian comfort cuisine - the smoke, the salt, the stories - and fuse it with Japanese noodle culture. Our truck tells the story of humble Appalachian ingredients elevated through Japanese techniques. Starters average $8 and include unique twist like Holler Rollers, an eggroll stuffed with corned beef and cabbage, to Fried Pimento Cheese Wontons with hot honey. Dishes have been thoughtfully crafted to cover the major dietary restrictions covering Vegan and Gluten Free options. The Appalachian ramen bowls are where mountain comfort food meets the soul of Japanese noodle culture - hearty, smoky, and deeply satisfying with an average price of $15.
