Hello, All my name is Destiney Sinclair. My business name is Babi It'z So Deelyciousss L.L.C. Let's start from the very beginning of my food truck/Catering journey. I have always loved to cook. My family always gathered my loved ones together through food. I would always be the child sitting in the kitchen soaking up generations of recipes. From middle school to college, I was always cooking for those closest to me.

So, at 22 years of age, I was working an office job. I was also in school to get my masters degree. Feeling overwhelmed from work and school, I began to create a vision board for the goals that I wanted to accomplish. One thing on that list was to eventually own a food truck.
I started trying different ethnic foods and I was mastering each dish, while also adding my own style to each dish. As I continued to try new dishes, I realized that the kitchen was my place of peace and serenity.I found myself sitting in my car outside my home, and I decided that day that I was done with the job and school. I told myself that it was now or never to make my dream come true of being a food truck owner. I decided to delve deep into what it took to become a food truck owner. After months of planning, I purchased my food trailer in July of 2023. And did my first sale about two months later.
Now, I am looking to expand my margins and reach different crowds of people. I want people from all walks of life to be able to have access delicious cuisines such as mine.

I have been in the culinary industry for over 42 years and have held positions from Line Cook to Executive Chef. After graduating from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts-Scottsdale in 2011, I wanted to open a small bistro, but after doing a cost analysis, I found it to be less expensive to operate a food truck and be able to drive to where the festtivals were instead of waiting for people to show up. For the next few years, I did my research, created a 5 year business plan and shopped for funding options.

Once my wife died suddenly last year, I wanted to fulfill our dream of owning a food truck and I had one custom built by prime Design in Tempe. I took possession of it in October 2023 and after licensing, we did our first event in March!

In 2019, after serving 20 years with the NY C Police Department, I decided to relocate to NC. Shortly thereafter, Covid restrictions were implemented. Rather than staying in bored, I looked into one of my dreams of selling street food. It was then that DeeVine Dogs was born. I enjoy serving my community and this was a way to do it to showcase my talent.

I was born in a small island in the Caribbean called, Barbados. In 1981, I was relocate to NYC and after High School I enlisted in the US Army.

My mom, rest her soul, encouraged me to joined the NYPD after leaving the Military

I started this business after I was laid off from my corporate job where I worked for almost 25 years. I realized I was wasting my life away doing something I did not enjoy, so I decided to open up a food truck. I have always had a passion for cooking and I wanted to share it with the world. I believe in using nothing but fresh quality ingredients. We also do not offer rice or beans, we specialize in tacos. My Carne Asada tacos are made with 100% fresh hand trimmed flank steak, the chicken tacos are made with fresh tender juicy chicken thighs. The carnitas are made with the finest pork, hand trimmed to remove all the fatty pieces, and oven baked to perfection. My seafood tacos are also freshly prepared daily. I use nothing but fresh ingredients, I even unplugged the freezer on the truck because nothing has ever been put in it. I believe people work hard every day, and what they consume should be matched with the same amount of hard work.

If you are looking for a cheap option to feed guests for a party, then I am not the option for you. If you are looking to make a statement to your guests that you care about the quality of the food you offer them, then I am the one for you. Our menu is competitively priced as well.
